These Pasukim teach us that as important as keeping God's commandments Bein Adam Li Makom are, it's just as important to keep the commandments Bein Adam Li Chaveiro. I know that this doesn't mean that you're religious if you're a good person, but it certainly gives people a reason to act in a respectful way towards others. This also sends a message to Jews that aren't religious by showing them that God cares about everything you do and even if you don't keep kosher or shabbos, just being a good person counts for something.

Sinning Isn't Cool.
We learned in class that Hashem was absolutely furious with the Jews because they had their hands "full of blood." Upon first reading the Pasuk, you'd think that God was mad at the Jews for being murderers. But hands full of blood here actually means that they were doing such bad things, it was as if they were murdering. Hashem says that the Jews need to seek justice, strengthen the robbed, perform justice for the orphan, and plead the case of the widow.

I feel like some people can be very judgmental toward Jews who are maybe less observant than them. When this happens people are completely looking past what is good in that person. They may not be observant, but that doesn't mean they aren't a good, kind, caring person.
