Good Jew?

This previous week we learned about G-d rejecting the Jewish people's offerings because they have ' blood on their hands'. G-d really means that the people are acting like the people of Sodom  The moral of the story is that G-d doesn't want you to only good at praying to him and sacrificing things to him. He also wants the people to be good. To be good as in being nice to people and helping the widows and the orphans. You cant be one and not the other.
In our times today sometimes there are people who  are nice and help others, but they don't pray to G-d. Other times there are the people who are extremely religious but get haughty and are rude to their pees. In order to be the right kind of Jew you must have both traits!
