Crimson vs. Crimson Dye

In Passuk י"ח-כ it says that if your sins are like the color crimson then they will turn as white as snow. If your sins are like crimson dye then it will turn as white as wool. What is the difference between the crimson color and crimson dye? Crimson dye is cannot be completely erased, so the product will not be perfectly white (wool is not a perfect white like snow). We can see from this that the sin between man and G-d and the sin between man and man can be separated into these two images. The sin between man and G-d can be shown with the crimson color becoming as white as snow. We can say this sin is forgiven and forgotten from Hashem. The other image can be used with the sin between man and man. The sin can be forgiven, but it is very hard to be completely forgotten by a person. Also when doing a sin between man and man, you are sinning against Hashem and fellow people. 

I think this is a very important thing to bring up in this specific place. We were talking about how when the Jews only did mitzvot between man and G-d, the Korbanot and those mitzvot didn't mean anything to Him if you don't include mitzvot between man and man into your life. Bringing up this imagery shows how important and hurtful a sin between man and man can be. You are going against Hashem and hurting your fellow humans at the same time. It can in a way be worse than sinning between man and man because you are not only hurting man but also G-d.
